Using a Station

1. Locate an unoccupied ChargePoint Network charging station. The display should read,

"CHARGEPOINT NETWORK / HOLD KEY NEAR LOCK TO START".

IMPORTANT! Plug your charging cord into your vehicle BEFORE plugging it into the charging station socket. Charging cords with clear/transparent plugs will NOT work with the charging stations.

2. Hold your Smart Card near the card reader for a second or two by covering the lock icon with your Smart Card. The display will read,

"AUTHORIZING..."

Wait for authorization to complete.

3. When the display reads,

"AUTHORIZED DOOR UNLOCKED / LIFT DOOR INSERT PLUG",

lift the door and plug your charging cord into the charging station socket. Push the cord all the way in to ensure a secure connection.

4. When the display reads,

"CLOSE DOOR TO LOCK",

push the door closed to lock in place.

IMPORTANT! Check that the charging station door is locked. Charging will NOT begin unless door is locked.

Once locked, the display reads,

"DOOR LOCKED ENERGIZING..."

and will show a progress meter with a counter displaying "CHARGING".

1. Hold your Smart Card nearthe card reader for a second or two by covering the lock icon with your Smart Card. The display will read,

"DOOR UNLOCKED / REMOVE CORD AND CLOSE DOOR".

IMPORTANT! You must use the same Smart Card to start and end your charging session.

2. Open the door and remove your charging cord from the charging station socket.

3. Close and lock the charging station door. The display will read,

"CHARGING DONE",

and display your charging session details. Remove your charging cord from your car.
