What if I have a problem getting a ChargePoint Charging Station to work?

Call the 1-888 toll free number on your card (and on the charging station), and an operator will be happy to assist you.

What if I lose my ChargePass card in the middle of a charging session?

Call the 888 toll free number on your card (and on the charging station), identify yourself as the driver who started the session, and an operator will be able to remotely open the door to the charging station.

What if my favorite charging station is occupied or out of service and I don’t have web access?

Call the 1-888 toll free number on your card (and on the charging station), identify yourself as a driver, and an operator will direct you to the nearest unoccupied charging station. This is a free service for a limited time only.

What happens if there is a power failure while I’m charging my plug-in vehicle? How do I get my cord back?

During a power failure, the Coulomb ChargePoint Networked Charging Station will unlock. This patent pending feature will resume charging after power is restored, as long as your cord is plugged in. You can terminate the charging session normally with your ChargePass card. The station will re-lock after you remove your card.

I started a session to charge my plug-in vehicle with my ChargePass card, and when I try to start a session at another charging station for my friend, it refuses to authorize me. What do I do?

Only one session per ChargePass card is allowed at any time. Your friend should get their own ChargePoint account.
