About the ChargePoint Network
The Coulomb Technologies ChargePoint Network is the world's leading and most advanced infrastructure for recharging plug-in electric vehicles, uniting three key stakeholders:
- Subscribers (plug-in electric vehicle drivers)
- Hosts (charging stations owners)
- Utilities (electricity suppliers)
- Fleets (electric vehicle fleet owners)

The ChargePoint Network consists of two main parts:
ChargePoint Networked Charging Stations: Coulomb Technologies charging stations are used by municipalities, utilities, green office buildings and parking garages and allow consumers to charge their electric vehicles wherever they live, work and shop. Consumers subscribe to the ChargePoint Network and receive a ChargePoint Smart Card that allows them to charge their car at any charging station worldwide.. From fully Electric Vehicles (EV) to Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV), Coulomb's ChargePoint Networked Charging Stations can charge them all.
ChargePoint Network Operating System (NOS): The ChargePoint NOS is the software "smarts" behind the ChargePoint Network. The ChargePoint NOS software runs on the distributed, scalable ChargePoint server platform. The ChargePoint NOS controls access to charging stations, provides real-time availability of stations via Google Maps, and supports remote management and maintenance of charging stations. Equally important, the ChargePoint NOS provides customized "views" of the ChargePoint Network for Subscribers, Hosts, Utilities and Fleets.
